Metelli Group presents on the market the first timing belt kit with belt in oil: Metelli  29-0450 / Graf TP450 / KWP TW450 for 1.2 THP engine for PSA vehicles including Peugeot 308 II, 2008 I, 3008 SUV, Citroen C3 III Aircross and Vauxhall Corsa F.

New downsize 3-cylinder engines that aim for friction reductions to increase the car's performance use oil-immersed rubber timing belts. These are timing belts that withstand up to +150° and down to -15° and have special rubber compounds that resist oil chemicals. It is of utmost importance to use specific oils to avoid damaging the belt and timing components.
